Evelyn provided so much inspiration. She was generous, open, opinionated, stoic, brave and proud and she set standards that are a shining example that will live on in our hearts and minds forever. More than anything she showed that we must not to be afraid to love each other despite all the risks and now the pain. It is a price that we must all pay or we won’t have lived our lives.
